Escape into this time-travel romance series by #1 New York Times bestselling fantasy author Kelley Armstrong… Four years ago, Rosalind Courtenay stumbled from the nineteenth century to the twenty-first, where she has been trapped ever since, leaving her husband and infant son behind. Now she’s found her way back. The problem, of course, is how to explain her absence to her husband. Does he think she abandoned him? Has he remarried? Is he happy in a new life? Rosalind decides to don a disguise in hopes of answering her questions before showing up on his doorstep. Instead, a twist of fate has her mistaken for her young son’s new governess. Rosalind has every intention of revealing herself as soon as August returns home from business. Until then, she’ll get to know her son, a quiet child who has inexplicably been abandoned by an endless stream of governesses. That’s when the hauntings begin. Rosalind has finally come home and something—or someone—doesn’t just want her gone. They want her dead. * * * * * Note: While this is the second book in the series, it features new main characters and can be read as a standalone. * * * * * Keywords: time travel; gothic romance; Victorian romance; second chance at love; cold-case mystery; haunted house; governess; no cliffhangers

This book is a collection of spiritual art and poetry by Stephen J. Vattimo. The artwork and poetry challenge the viewer to open their eyes and ears to the salvation message of Jesus, so they can come to a saving relationship with God. The author attempts through his artwork to convey biblical concepts through the skillful use of symbolism, subject matter and the use of color. Through poetry, the author aspires to communicate spiritual principles that encourage Christian living. The writing style makes use of allegory, colorful descriptive language and plays on words. The writings encourage the reader to find hope in God. This hope will strengthen them in adversity and enable them to weather the storms and survive the droughts. As a result, they'll be able to replant after the locusts of life have devoured the work of their hands. The book can also inspire and equip Christians to walk obediently and serve God. So, when Christians stand before the throne of God and give an account for the stewardship of their lives, they as a faithful servant will be able to present a fruitful harvest to the glory of God. In sharp contrast, the unfaithful servants present a harvest of thorns and thistles to their own shame.

Every January, from 1996 to 2016, while I was suffering with summer in Rio I received snowy news from the Sundance Festival through Carlos Brandão and his partner Myrna. In those 20 years, Carlos and Myrna were my main source of information about independent world cinema. It is a great joy to see all this material gathered in a book. Carlos was a passionate researcher and, along with Myrna, an experienced reporter. Their interviews and reports on films and directors that have passed through Sundance have the mark of someone who saw everything up close. And knew how to tell it. Carlos Alberto Mattos – Film Critic When Robert Redford founded the nonprofit Sundance Institute in 1981, the intense creativity of American independent cinema in the 70’s was too distant. The Festival came to redefine the characteristics of a cinema that was becoming more conservative and less daring, as a reflection of the Reagan years. Betting on risk and dissonant and plural voices, Sundance knew how to reveal innovative directors and organize “Script Development Programs” in different parts of the world, starting with Brazil. The geopolitics of independent cinema would never be the same. Sundance marked the resumption of Brazilian Cinema after the disastrous government of President Collor. It was one of the first international festival to embrace our cinematography at that time and few critics and journalists followed this movement as closely as Carlos Augusto Brandão. With his inseparable Myrna, Carlos foresaw what was still under construction. He covered the Festival from the start, collecting precious interviews from young new-comers. I cannot remember Sundance without thinking about Carlos, his remarks and always relevant and sensitive questions, publishing stories that dimensioned the revival of Brazilian Cinema. These testimonies comprise this precious "20 Years of Independent Cinema". The interviews gathered here tell not only the story of the renaissance of independent cinema in different latitudes, but also speak of the intense passion that Carlos had for cinema. His texts make him both a witness and co-author of a cinema in transformation. Walter Salles – Film-Maker

Suicide, depression, eating disorders, and other mental health illnesses have dramatically increased among adolescents in recent decades. Our American culture demands high levels of success and propagates a "feel good" attitude that denies pain, loss, and failure. Churches contribute to these distressing realities among youth. Our theology associates "being happy" with "true faithfulness" to God, overemphasizing praise and thanksgiving while neglecting lament, even though lament comprises the largest number of Psalms. There is much good in the lives of today's adolescents, but there is also much grief and woundedness. Helping Youth Grieve exposes the warped view of God modeled and taught to our young people. This book portrays a God who yearns to hear the honest cries of our youth, even when that involves blaming God! Spiritual caregivers will discover good news in biblical lament for its role in pastoral care and faith formation of adolescents.

Christos Yannaras (born 1935 in Athens, Greece) has been proclaimed 'without doubt the most important living Greek Orthodox theologian' (Andrew Louth), 'contemporary Greece's greatest thinker' (Olivier Clement), 'one of the most significant Christian philosophers in Europe' (Rowan Williams). However, until recently the English-speaking scholar did not have first-hand access to the main bulk of his work: in spite of the relatively early English translation of his The Freedom of Morality (1984), most of his books appeared in English fairly recently - such as Person and Eros (2007), Orthodoxy and the West (2006), Relational Ontology (2011) or The Schism in Philosophy (2015). In this volume, chapters shall examine numerous aspects of Yannaras' contributions to Orthodox theology, philosophy and political thought, based on his relational ontology of the person, later popularised in the Anglophone sphere by John Zizioulas. From political theology to Heidegger and the philosophy of language, from Yannaras' critique of religion to the patristic grounding of the theology of the person and from Orthodoxy to the West, this volume comprises a panorama of Christos Yannaras' transdisciplinary contributions.
