In the follow-up to Elisa Medhus’s My Son and the Afterlife—“a heartfelt, deeply moving story” (Eben Alexander, New York Times bestselling author of Proof of Heaven)—her son Erik tells his astounding story directly from the afterlife, describing in detail his death, transition, and spiritual renewal. My Life After Death begins on the tragic day when Erik Medhus took his own life. What follows is a moment-by-moment account of the spiritual life he discovers on the other side—told for the very first time in his own words as channeled by medium Jamie Butler and then transcribed by his mother Elisa. Overflowing with his signature honesty and candor, Erik describes more than just a visit to the afterlife. He personally walks us through the experience of dying, transitioning into spirit form, and reveals a detailed look at the life awaiting us on the other side. In this intimate and provocative memoir, crucial questions will finally be answered, including: What does it feel like to die? What is it like to become a spirit? Why and how do spirits communicate with the living? Is there a heaven? Ultimately, Erik’s story provides the answers that will help readers find solace and remove the fears surrounding death, showing that love has no boundaries and life does not truly end.

John Hennessy grew up with animals as his constant companions. Each time he faced the death of a cherished pet, along with the gut wrenching pain and guilt trips came the same questions, to which there were no obvious answers. Then, mysterious things began to happen that he could not explain, almost pushing him to question his own mind at times. This led him on an incredible journey to uncover the truth about what it is to learn, to love, to live, and to leave a legacy, for ourselves and those around us.Told in a heartwarming, revealing, personal but also uncompromising view that one could only expect from a writer of horror stories, the author steps out of his comfort zone to deliver a book that is more than a memoir of a cat who is sorely missed - it is a discovery of the self, and may challenge everything you think you know about the after-life.The author leaves it up to the reader to decide for themselves what really happened, but life and death is a personal journey for each and every one of us and accounts vary from person to person. Those who have passed over never come back to tell us what it is like, and how we should shape our remaining days accordingly.Coco: Joy of After-Life - A Journey Beyond Death and into the Heavens does not deliberately seek to provide explicit comfort and reassurance to anyone who has ever cherished and lost a pet, though readers can take some comfort from it of course. Instead, it sets out to answer some questions of anyone who has ever wondered how these creatures and ourselves fit into the larger scheme of things, both here on the Earth and beyond.

As a five year old boy, I witnessed the horrors of war first hand during the 1965 war between India and Pakistan. Because my father was assigned to the Headquarters of Pakistan army, we lived on the base and faced relentless air attacks from the Indian air force. Seeing the devastation and death caused by war made me develop a deep rooted hatred for Indians. I wanted to grow up and join the Pakistani army and kill as many Indians as I could. Fate would have it that I never joined the military and ended up coming to the US for higher education instead. When I arrived in America, I met a Sikh from India named Kulbir Singh who did everything possible to be my friend, while I did my best to not like him due to the hatred I had in my heart towards Indians. But Kulbir made it impossible for me to hate him because he was such a wonderful person; so selfless, loving and a true friend. I was forced to reevaluate my feelings towards the Indians and I realized that our military was killing them at the same time they were killing us. I understood how wrong I was in my hatred and how this man’s unconditional love as a friend forced me to see the light. I consider him one of my best friends until this day and he taught me such wonderful lessons in life; not only in the futility of hatred, but also the power of unconditional love. Now if the whole world can somehow see each other with a burning love for humanity, we will be able to end wars and bring peace to mankind.

Have you ever wondered if it is possible to stay in touch with your loved ones and share their journey in the afterlife? “What happens after death is far too important for us to rely on hand-me-down teachings. We need the authority of first-hand experience. This is what Ann West provides in her moving narrative of her remarkable attempt to continue her friendship with three extraordinary women for many years after their deaths. As we join her on her excursions, we learn about lifestyle and real estate options on the Other Side, the anatomy of subtle bodies, and how the law of attraction applies in all realities. She describes her personal journey, including her discovery of the consequences of ‘bleedthroughs’ from past or parallel lives, with candor and humility. She draws on the theory and practice of esoteric orders, but comes to understand that the heart of the matter is very simple; we can dream with the deceased, and in dreaming we travel to the realms where they are at home. The Great Transition confirms that there is life beyond life, and that learning and creative evolution never cease.” —ROBERT MOSS, author of Conscious Dreaming, Dreamgates and The Boy Who Died and Came Back “This book will take you on a very unusual journey with warmth, wit and wonder. Dr. West describes in vivid detail life in the next world as revealed in her own dreams and intriguing visions. Anyone seeking to gain a synthesis of the after death experience will find value, insight and I dare say inspiration in this deeply researched and intriguingly written text.” —REVEREND LEROY E. ZEMKE, author of Thoughts for Transformation Inspired by three remarkable women in her life, Ann invites you to embark upon an incredible journey with her to continue relationships with loved ones as they make the great transition to the Other Side of life. Ann shares her personal experiences of contact with other dimensions, the afterlife, to help you discover new and less painful ways to approach the loss of loved ones in your life. It is comforting to know that the connection is still there and that our goodbyes do not have to be permanent. Because of an increase in reports of the phenomenon of near-death-experiences (NDEs), great interest in the evidence of an afterlife has arisen, igniting a growing trend of research on the topic. In this book, Ann captivatingly reveals past research as well as current scientific research about our contact with the afterlife dimensions.

In May 1935, 22-year-old Max Reisch and 19-year-old Helmuth Hahmann set out in a small motor car to find a land route from India to China. Their journey across Asia took them from Haifa to Tokyo. In this lively account, the author regales us with one story after another, struck with wonder or struggling against disaster in countries which deeply concern us today: Iraq with its oilfields, ancient Iran in the throes of modernisation, proud Afghanistan, and British India with its stunning variety of civilisation. Before the building of the Burma Road, driving from India to southern China meant sinking over the axles in mud on forest tracks and crossing torrents on rickety ferryboats. It also meant encounters with strange and fascinating peoples and places. With war already on the horizon, Reisch and Hahmann completed their round-the-world trip via Japan and the United States, arriving back in Vienna in December 1936. Originally written by Max Reisch in German, this brand new English translation by Alison Falls captures all the excitement of the journey, and features fascinating historical photos of the journey from the Reisch archives.

The boss of the city's Belfast meatworks, had arrived an hour early to set up for the day, when he noticed one of his workers packing up a crate on the countertop. The young lad was battling to move it so the boss went over to help. When asked what time he'd started, the boy replied 'Five o'clock this morning'. Stunned, and amused, the boss told him he'd be earning a good bonus at the end of the week, and wondered aloud what he'd spend it on. But the boy knew, and immediately replied, 'I'm going to race speedway in England.' And he did. That boy was Barry Briggs, and it was just the start of his great adventure. Little did he know he was soon to become the legendary speedway racer more commonly known as Briggo, and later as Barry Briggs MBE. Isn't 'dead' a harsh way of referring to those we have loved, but whose time in this physical world has come to an end? Of course it is... and the title of this book is intended to be a little tongue-in-cheek! Meanings of the word dead include, "no longer living, deprived of life, lifeless"; however, anyone who has ever experienced even the briefest of connections with a loved one who has - how shall we say it? - gone ahead, will know that those descriptions have nothing to do with human souls! After all, how can something that is 'lifeless' communicate with us? How can it be sensed, and felt? The answer is, it can't. Only something that is life-filled can do those things. Just because one physical journey has come to a conclusion, it doesn't mean that the story is over. A page, maybe... but definitely not the whole story. However, in this book, the term 'dead' doesn't just refer to those souls we have known, loved, and lost. Connections are sometimes made with souls we have never met... and, of course, it wouldn't make sense not to talk about spirit guides! How The 'Dead' Connect With Us - And Vice Versa, explores the different ways in which 'they' can connect with us, and us with them. Leanne Halyburton writes in her customary candid, down-to-earth way, weaving warmth - and a touch of humour - throughout the pages. She reassures and encourages, whilst approaching certain subjects in a rational way, including:★ Intuitive development★ Mediums★ Spirit guides★ Hauntings★ Ouja★ Trapped energetic 'recordings'Bonus materialThe first chapter from, Our Life Beyond Death - An Incredible JourneyTwo beautiful, heartfelt poems. If you are looking for a fascinating, easy read that will leave you with a little food for thought, whilst reassuring you that you are NOT going crazy when you experience a spontaneous connection with a lost loved one, then, How The 'Dead' Connect With Us - And Vice Versa, might just be worth a try!
