What do you do when you're a popular porn star and the love of your life is deeply religious and totally closeted? Why, you keep your true identity from him, create an alternate reality, and hope he doesn't find out, of course. Because, if he ever does, that would be the deal breaker. That was Jordan Hearst's reasoning, anyway. However, despite Jordan's best efforts at keeping his charade a secret, Spenser Hudson does find out. Having a liar and a porn star as a boyfriend is a deal breaker as far as the devastated Spenser is concerned. Fearing the loss of both his job and his family, Spenser abruptly disappears from Jordan's life, castigating himself for ever letting his carnal desires override his faith, thus allowing him to fall in love with the handsome, charming Jordan. With all attempts at reconciliation rebuffed, Jordan tries to move on, but the love he feels for Spenser won't go away, making it impossible for him to return to his job of having meaningless sex in front of the cameras. Spenser is given a different perspective on his and Jordan's situation from an unlikely source. Can the love he still feels for Jordan be the key to rekindling what they once shared? Is it enough to make Spenser see there's more than one way to look at the deal life has given him? Can a new deal to be struck?

Have you ever found yourself thinking, “If one more friend gets engaged I’m going to scream”? Do the words taffeta and crinoline make you break into a cold sweat? Does reading the wedding announcements section in the newspaper induce outright hyperventilation? If so, congratulations! You’ve hit the Panic Years. According to author Doree Lewak, the Panic Years mark the point (usually around your twenty-sixth birthday) when your dating agenda fundamentally changes—from dating for a fling to dating for a ring. Suddenly your newly married friends feel more like enemies, weddings become mocking reminders of your own single status, and you contemplate going on a reality TV show to find true love. What’s a girl to do? In The Panic Years, Lewak delivers a hilarious and helpful road map for conquering the Panic and finding Mr. Right. As Lewak shows, you can win the race to the altar by changing your tactics from Panicked to Proactive—and keeping your sense of humor along the way. You will learn how to: Cope with Panic by Proxy—pushy friends and parents. Successfully hunt for PFs (Potential Fiancés). Project hotness and desirability. Set—and stick to—dating time lines. Avoid being bitter at your friends’ weddings—and ruining all their pictures with that scowl on your face. Get the ring and the proposal and seal the deal! Packed with true-life stories from the Panic trenches as well as indispensable advice, The Panic Years is the ultimate guide for anyone who wants to survive her single years (with sanity intact), snag her perfect guy, and remain fabulous throughout it all. You know you’re in the Panic Years when: Your mom slips you the number of her tennis partner’s son … for the fifth time. You’ve walked down the aisle dozens of times—just not as a bride. Your “concerned friends” chip in for a subscription to for your birthday. It’s down to you and the five-year-old flower girl at the bouquet toss. Upon hearing “Guess what? I’m engaged!” for the second time in one week, you disconnect your phone. You actively scheme to win back your ex—even though he’s already engaged to someone else.

Born to extremely young parents on August 9, 1963. raised by my mothers mother a God-fearing woman, Mother Jimmie Ann Lewis who surely deserves honorable mention and more. I have always been an avid reader and I have always put my thoughts on paper. I believe it began while in Junior High I wrote poetry and short stories. I even entered a few contests; not much ever became of that. But what I would really like you to know is when youre young you make a lot of husband and I worked hard at getting our credit together so we could purchase a home and just so happens that we chose a realtor who was a scheista and then we purchased a house in the middle of the ghetto; imagine that. Well, needless to say they were selling drugs out the back door and shootin each other out the front door. I am a native of Pennsylvania but several months before my 38th birthday I pondered my circumstances and realized I had been in Harrisburg all my life and it was high time for me to leave. After I had this epiphany I was determined not to celebrate 38 years in my hometown. Hence, we loaded up the truck and we moved to Beverly, no we actually moved to St. Louis, MO; to the place of my husbands birth (he wanted to be closer to his family). After only 18 months there we decided to move one more time and we are now transplants to Arizona. Lets go back, I forgot to tell you that all the while the shooting and the drug dealing was going I was petitioning heaven and this was my prayer...Lord, please increase my quality of living. Dont know exactly what I expected but after leaving the city of St. Louis where someone would go joyriding in our cars every other night, arriving in AZ and paying six hundred and some odd dollars a month for a two bedroom in a complex that had a pool I was sure God had responded. Weve been in Arizona for 7 years and weve been blessed to purchase a 4,000sf home, we have natural children, adopted children and foster children and God has done exceeding abundantly more than I asked. Not only that I picked up my pen again and O the things that God has to say! Who knew?
