The creative potentiality of metaphor is one of the central themes in research on creativity. The present volume offers a space for the interdisciplinary discussion of the relationship between metaphor and creativity by focusing on (re)contextualization across modes and socio-cultural contexts and on the performative dimension of creative discourse practices. The volume brings together insights from Conceptual Metaphor Theory, (Critical) Discourse approaches to metaphor and Multimodal discourse analysis. Creativity as a process is explored in how it emerges in the flow of experience when talking about or reacting to creative acts such as dance, painting or music, and in subjects’ responses to advertisements in experimental studies. Creativity as product is explored by analyzing the choice, occurrence and patterning of creative metaphors in various types of (multimodal and multisensorial) discourses such as political cartoons, satire, films, children’s storybooks, music and songs, videos, scientific discourse, architectural reviews and the performance of classical Indian rasa.

The second volume of the life of Rufus, personal physician to Julius Caesar, completes the astounding saga brought forth through Edgar Wedge, a tire salesman, by the process of hypnotic regression therapy. Rufus embarks on a trip from central Gaul to Rome on a secret mission for Caesar to uncover, and hopefully prevent, an attempt to assassinate him. Rufus gradually realizes the futility of war. Caesars battle with Germanic invaders to Northern Gaul further strengthens his conviction that Caesars early idealistic motivation for the Gallic wars has been replaced by his compulsion to gain power at any price. Rufus troubled love affair with Princess Aedua reaches an unexpected conclusion.

THE SLAVE, An Incredible Journey, is the story of a man whose name appears only twice in Scripture. He was a slave of a leader in the Early Church, but ran away and ended up in Rome where,he meets and comes under the infl uence of the Apostle Paul. Later, Paul sends him back to his master. The name of the slave, Onesimus, means useful. Paul notes that Onesimus was useful to him and would be useful to his Lord. Therein lies a story, an almost unbelievable story.

A Love Story for Susan is a story of hope in our world. This book describes the journey taken by the author into his mind. There, he faced the darkness of his personal hell, earning the right to stand in the brilliance of God's light at journey's end. The journey into self is a journey any person can choose to take. This book appeals to those people who are struggling with the meaning of their existence. It is a struggle many are choosing to face at this time because the desire to discover one's truth is a desire that lives in all of us. A Love Story for Susan convincingly demonstrates the importance of love in the healing of a human mind. The author's story is an inspirational example of how to transmute pain into strength and gain a new life by doing so. His goal was simply to find his true self. Little did he know that God waits patiently for those who make the journey to truth, the journey to self. A Love Story for Susan is the story of the author's journey home.

Wilbur, the lion, Rombus, the fox, and Oatebaans, the Jackal brothers, all have their own battles of survival. Rombus stumbles upon a discovery amidst a battle of interests relationship with Wilbur. Battle for survival turns into one for total dominance of the savannah. No one wants to admit that the race is on, all the while, endeavoring to wrest control of the same, however, some battles will have to be conceded in order to win the overall war. What makes this book metaphysical is the plethora of psychological persuasion techniques travailed throughout the story line. Over the three book series, Savannah Kingdom will offer itself as an allegory on the course freedom has been put upon, ever since the events of 911.
